Description
KDX – Key to Digital eXpression is a modern art marketplace designed to ensure authenticity, transparency, and traceability in the art world.
The platform allows artists to apply for vendor status and, once approved, upload and manage their own artworks through a dedicated dashboard. Every submitted artwork requires administrative approval before being listed for sale. After approval, the artwork is assigned a unique digital license that is permanently stored in the system along with a Certificate of Authenticity. These details are displayed on the product page and can be independently verified at any time.
Collectors can browse the store, purchase artworks, and manage their personal collection through a “My Art” section in their account. For each owned artwork, users receive access to the license information and a downloadable, platform-generated Certificate of Authenticity (PDF). Each piece can also be resold directly on the platform, allowing for continuous traceability of ownership and transaction history.
The system is designed around a simple but secure workflow: an order is placed, processed, shipped (if required), and finally completed. When the order is marked as completed, the system automatically transfers the artwork’s license to the new owner. This ensures that every transfer is recorded and that only genuine owners can list or resell an artwork.
In addition to being an online store, KDX also functions as a verification platform, where users can check the authenticity of any registered artwork using its unique license details.
